At times if feels like a mountain to raise an extra $65,000 each year and yet we know you move a mountain a shovel at a time! Even small gifts make a world of difference!

Mustard Seed Resident Scott Bruski’s testimony at his completion ceremony:

“My life has been a roller coaster. My addiction and poor choices began at a young age. I’ve been in and out of a handful of treatments and jails over many years. Every time I end up incarcerated I would tell myself that this would be my last and that I needed to change, but it was just words. I was caught up in the guilt, shame and selfishness of my addiction. The last time I was arrested I encountered an old friend of mine who handed me a Bible and said to me, “This is what you need, the Lord in your life.” That’s when I gave my heart to the Lord but I knew I needed a different kind of program this time. The things that I had tried in the past didn’t work so I began to look for someone or something that could help me further my quest with the Lord. It was in this time that I discovered the Mustard Seed Program. In this program I have been able to find my strengths. I have become a better friend, a better son, a better dad. I am proud of the person I am now and I have my family at Mustard Seed to thank for that. I came to Mustard Seed with two bags of clothes, no home, no job and no hopes for the future. I leave here with a great new job, a beautiful new home, a renewed relationship with my family, and nothing but optimism about where my life is headed and I have my faith in God and the love and support from all of you to thank for getting me where I am today. Thank you for helping me to repair my relationships, my hope and my life.”

This is what Mustard Seed is all about and what keeps us focused on continuing to give ourselves to help change lives. How about you?
